How Many Days Do You Need in Saranda?
FAQs
Yes. Saranda is worth visiting for its Ionian coastline, lively promenade, nearby beaches, historic sites, boat trips and easy access to places such as Ksamil, Butrint and the Blue Eye.
Saranda can be affordable, but prices increase significantly during July and August. Accommodation, restaurants and beach services are generally more expensive in the busiest waterfront and tourist areas.
For most travelers, 3–5 days is ideal. Three days covers the main highlights, while five days gives you enough time for beaches, day trips and a more relaxed experience.
It depends on what you want. Saranda’s city beaches are best for convenience, while Mirror Beach, Pulebardha and nearby Ksamil beaches offer clearer water and more dramatic coastal scenery.
The easiest way is by ferry from Corfu to Saranda. Travel from Corfu Airport to the port, take the ferry across the Ionian Sea and arrive at Saranda Port, which is close to the city centre.
